Using Google Analytics can be tricky, especially when you try and track what your customers are purchasing. Google Analytics is a very powerful tool used to analyze your websites traffic data. Simply tracking where your users are coming from is great, but what if you wanted to track how your customers got to your store, and, if they purchased a product, what they purchased?

Leveraging Third Party Tools to Increase Sales and Drive Traffic

The web offers a vast array of tools to help analyze and drive traffic to your website. There are many free options which you should already be taking advantage of, such as Google Analytics, and there are a few paid options which provide ProStores-specific data or a higher level of granularity on the data being recorded.

ProStores is very good at what it does – e-commerce. They have recently added some analytical information, but it really isn’t there as far as delivering the data that you need most – such as lost sales information. This is fine! Many merchant’s expect ProStores to take care of every aspect of their business, and it’s driving ProStores to spread itself thin trying to accommodate the merchant’s wishes. There are other tools available, so use them! You wouldn’t use a hammer to turn a screw, don’t use your e-commerce platform to analyze your web traffic.
